Landscape Maintenance Team Leader role at Lowney’s Landscaping Center!

The Landscape Maintenance Team Leader is an in-the-field position responsible for the
overall operations of all Utility projects including aiding in scheduling and seeing
projects through to completion. Utility includes mulch top-dressing, one- or two-day
maintenance makeovers, pond care, small planting renovations, small removal projects
and plant warranty projects.


A successful Team Leader will show through customer satisfaction, respect from
associates, great attitude, positive demeanor and hitting expected job profitability on
each property served.


What you’ll be doing as a Landscape Maintenance Team Leader: 

  • Provide exemplary customer service, leadership skills and sound decision-making skills

  • Provide comprehensive maintenance knowledge and techniques for optimal plant health

  • Work under time constraints given by Manager

  • Schedule properties per contract terms and aid in scheduling of all Utility crews

  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is complete and turned in on-time

  • Communicate effectively with associates and customers


What you’ll bring to the table as a Landscape Maintenance Team Leader: 

 

  • Minimum two-year degree in Horticulture related field or three years in-field experience

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • WI Turf and Landscape Certification 3.0 or ability to get it in 60 days from hire

  • Vast knowledge in plant health and softscape procedures

  • Experience with contract terms and landscape plan reading

  • General knowledge in water features and fountains/aerators

  • Great attitude and self-starter who takes tremendous pride in work they do

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Plant and Weed ID and characteristics

  • Ability to work in uncomfortable weather conditions
